About the World Aids Day Committee

United in our mission of combating the HIV/AIDS pandemic locally and globally, the UBC World AIDS Day Committee is an annual collaboration of over a dozen UBC student activist groups. Over the past four years we have raised awareness and funds within the Vancouver community with initiatives ranging from film nights and candle light vigils to life-size art installations and public forums.

This year the committee is made up of the following groups on campus:
